ASL Interpretation is available on the following dates during the 2:00 PM matinee performance:

  • The Hobbit - November 2, 2024
  • A Christmas Story: The Play - December 14, 2024
  • Trouble in Mind - February 15, 2025
  • Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - March 29, 2025

I-Caption® & D-Scriptive® Services

R-4 Wireless Receiver

Pittsburgh Public Theater is proud to offer the Sound Associates, Inc. I-Caption® and D-Scriptive® closed-captioning and audio description services, the same technology as on Broadway. These services are offered at many of our performances, with specific dates below. You may pick up your R-4 wireless receiver upon arrival at the theater by visiting our coat check in the main lobby.

Live Audio Description is available on the following dates during the 8:00 PM evening performance:
