We are proud to offer an American Sign Language Series, assistive listening, I-Caption®, and D-Scriptive® services at select performances. American Sign Language Series

ASL Interpretation is available on the following dates during the 2:00 PM matinee performance:

  • Noises Off - Oct 11, 2025
  • A Christmas Story: The Play - Dec 13, 2025
  • An Enemy of the People - Feb 14, 2026
  • Primary Trust - April 4, 2026

I-Caption® & D-Scriptive® Services

R-4 Wireless Receiver

Pittsburgh Public Theater is proud to offer the Sound Associates, Inc. I-Caption® and D-Scriptive® closed-captioning and audio description services, the same technology as on Broadway. These services are offered at many of our performances, with specific dates below. You may pick up your R-4 wireless receiver upon arrival at the theater by visiting our coat check in the main lobby.

Live Audio Description is available on the following dates during the 8:00 PM evening performance:
