The Town Hall Project

Throughout the 2012/13 "Made in America" season, the doors of the O'Reilly will be thrown open for a series of discussions of ideas, identities and experiences. Free and open for all, these events will feature panel discussions and open mic opportunities for audiences to share their own thoughts. The first two events of the season will be moderated by KDKA-TV's Lynne Hayes-Freeland.

Pittsburghers talk about causes that moved them to take action - and how you can get involved
Panel includes:
- Heather Starr Fiedler, creator of "Play It Forward, Pittsburgh", a social media driven toy drive for families in need
- Kristen Holloway, founder of Operation: Troop Appreciation which collects and ships care packages for troops serving overseas
- Thomas Hughes, volunteer board member from Assemble, a community space for arts and technology.
- Mac Howison, Program Officer for Catalytic Funding from The Sprout Fund, an organization supporting innovative ideas and activities to enrich the Pittsburgh region.
