Pittsburgh Public Theater is your theater!
Behind every actor, every costume, every prop, every piece of scenery is a donor such as yourself.
Ticket sales cover only part of what it takes to maintain a first-class regional theater company (44% to be exact). Gifts from many patrons provide the valuable resources we need to produce marvelous works of theater, and to inspire children of all ages through our arts education programs.
Your support will make it possible for The Public to attract award-winning actors, directors and designers; to design and build scenery and costumes from scratch; to offer a discounted ticket program for young people; and to inspire children through our arts education programs such as Creative Dramatics and the Shakespeare Contest.

You may also make a gift in honor or in memory of someone special. Your employer may even match your gift. If your employer has a matching gift program, it may double your level of support. You can also make your gift in monthly installments.
Individual Sponsorships are a surprisingly affordable opportunity for supporting The Public. Gifts of $2,500 or more can underwrite a significant aspect of a production or program.
