Classes & Workshops
"Creative Dramatics stimulates creativity and provides so many unique and ‘stretching' experiences. It truly helps develop the whole child and prepare them for life at a very important stage of their life. Many fifth graders are inhibited. They have lost their spontaneity and creativity. Not only does this program rekindle that spark, it teaches them how to sustain it."
- Gifted Education Instructor and Librarian, Perrysville Elementary School
The Public offers classes and workshops for youth in acting, playwriting and technical theater for ages 10-17. We also give high school and college students an opportunity to "shadow" members of our production department. All classes and workshops are held at the O'Reilly Theater. Some financial aid is available. For more information, contact Rob Zellers, Director of Education & Outreach, at 412.316.8200, ext. 715.
