Education Program Sponsorship
"We are donors because we genuinely believe in what The Public is doing. We really enjoy the plays. But, it's not about pleasing us. It's about creating a quality experience — and the quality is fantastic. Every show is a surprise."
- Bill & Kim Alexander
Longtime Donors & Subscribers
In addition to the productions shown on our mainstage, Pittsburgh Public Theater's Education and Outreach Programs offer additional opportunities for your organization to promote itself while supporting the arts and children in southwestern Pennsylvania. Opportunities for sponsorship include Creative Dramatics, the Shakespeare Monologue & Scene Contest, Mondays at the Public free lectures, Public Exposure, the Public's new play reading series, and Free City, free performances for members of the community not traditionally served through regular programming, including senior citizens, visually impaired, disabled, and economically disadvantaged individuals.
Contact Gerri Weiss, Director of Development, at 412.316.8200, ext. 706, to establish your sponsorship support or for more information about sponsoring the season, a show, or education and outreach programs at The Public.
