Local Auditions Notice
Pittsburgh Public Theater announces Equity Principal Auditions for its 2009 -2010 Season.
Audition dates are as follows:
MUSICAL DAY - Monday, April 12, 2010 (10:00 am - 6:00 pm)
DRAMATIC DAY - Tuesday, April 13, 2010 (10:00 am - 6:00 pm)
Lunch Break: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Auditions will take place in the second floor conference room at the O'Reilly Theater downtown.
The auditions will be conducted by Pittsburgh Public Theater's Producing Artistic Director, Ted Pappas.
Auditions are for Equity male and female actors. Those auditioning for musicals should prepare a full classical musical theatre song (Lerner and Loewe, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers and Hart, Gershwin, Kern, etc.) not to exceed three (3) minutes. No rock or pop music, please. Accompanist will be provided. Those auditioning for straight plays should prepare one brief comedic contemporary monologue not to exceed two (2) minutes. Please remember to bring one copy of a headshot and resume stapled together.
