About the Annual Fund
"I have lived and worked in the Pittsburgh area for most of my life and am passionate about the economic issues facing Southwestern Pennsylvania. I make a living in this city and this region. It's no secret that this region struggles economically. The one salvation for downtown Pittsburgh is the Cultural District. I say that in total. Every part of that structure is key."

Pittsburgh Public Theater Trustee
The mainstay of Pittsburgh Public Theater's fund raising efforts is the Annual Fund. Through this on-going fund raising campaign, The Public raises revenue to offset general operating expenses and to provide its extensive education and outreach programs.
While The Public regularly earns a little more than half of its general operating budget through ticket sales, the remainder must be generated through contributions to the Annual Fund.
Pittsburgh Public Theater receives Annual Fund support from a variety of sources. The largest amount of funding comes from foundations, followed by donations from individuals, corporations, government, and special events.
